It was the year of 2021, we met each other for the first time at our workplace. The story was just begin in the middle of Melbourne summer, February 2022.
We spent half of our day together from an honest friendly catch up morning coffee, and ended up enjoyed each other companies with lots of laughter.
Weeks went by, then we audaciously decided to build a serious relationship. The old adage, “If it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t†doesn’t apply to the universe of us.
Long story short, entered 4 months in our relationship, Kiichi went to Indonesia, met all of the most important people in my life and stole their hearts wholesomely. The next year, we went to Japan and I met his family, flipping pages and pages of his childhood photo albums. I asked his mom if I can keep one as my personal memento.
In the middle of Kyoto summer, September 2023 he knelt on one knee and asked the most anticipated question followed by my YES.
To this day, our hearts full of love, elated, and looking forward to create many more cherished moments together.
